(especially in journalism) the use of exciting or shocking stories or language at the expense of accuracy, in order to provoke public interest or excitement.

This is something that you will not find on this news blog. This blog will sift through the attempts to create news where there is none, and instead discuss the important and real stories. 

Sometimes, we here at "Real News Without a Spin" will examine the sensationalized stories, and point out the inaccuracies. It is important to note that all news stories have opinion in them, but some of these opinions swing so far to the left or right that an educated opinion is impossible to conjure. Instead, what you will find here is middle of the road examinations of news stories as we get them.
